The Artist

I create contemporary still lifes that reflect us back to ourselves.

I’m fascinated by the still life tradition and the way it has always used the things we live with to tell deeper stories about our lives.

My work brings together what I gather from the world and what I create — places, flowers, birds, objects, gardens and architecture — composing them into still lifes that explore the connections between our lives, our histories and the world around us.
